In this role you will have the following responsibilities:

  • You will take responsibility for project activities concerning the CSDM/CMDB Data and Modell and leading the journey to a fully cloud ready CMDB.
  • You will act as a competent counterpart for our Configuration Management product owner,  and process experts. You will translate their requirements into individual use cases and thereby strengthen the ServiceNow capabilities.
  • You ensure a goal-oriented integration of the Configuration Items into the ITSM operational processes (e.g. incident, change or problem management) as well as into commercial processes (e.g. service portfolio or contract management), taking into account the defined data model (CSDM)
  • Together with our implementation partners for ServiceNow, you will explore the possibilities of mapping the requirements in our group-wide ITSM platform ServiceNow.
  • In regular consultations, you will identify potential for improvement in the processes as well as in ServiceNow and, if necessary, initiate changes and new projects
  • You will ensure the delivery of an appropriate and comprehensive documentation of data model, integrations, and specifications you have been working on.
  • You will join the ServiceNow team on its current DevOps journey.

 

What we need from you:

  • several years of experience in the realm of ServiceNow platform, as well as ServiceNow Certifications as CSA, CAD, Test Management and CMDB Micro certification
  • sound experience requested in ServiceNow ITSM specifically CMDB, ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping
  • you need to master CMDB integration technologies (Previous experience as ServiceNow developer is required
  • integration Hub, Discovery, Partner Interfaces and Service Mapping)
  • architectural expertise in classical Datacenter and Network, as well in Public Clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) is required
  • practical experience in agile and DevOps way of working
  • excellent and effective communication skills and the ability to clearly abstract and describe complex topics
  • capable of managing complex-tasks and very good project management skills
  • fluent English language skills are essential

 

 

Education, Certifications and Experience:

  • a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is advantageous
  • certifications in ServiceNow “Administration Fundamentals”, “Certified Systems Administrator” and “Implementation Specialist” are mandatory, “Certified Application Developer welcomed
  • minimum 3 years’ experience with ServiceNow configuration and development
  • demonstrated expertise in Mulesoft and / or SnowMirror is considered beneficial
  • practical experience in agile and DevOps way of working
