Who we are?

At E.ON, we are shaping the future of energy. As one of Europe’s leading energy companies, we operate across multiple markets with a clear ambition: to drive the energy transition and deliver sustainable, reliable and affordable solutions to our customers.  In the Czech Republic, nearly 3,500 colleagues contribute to our success every day. We offer a stable and fair working environment and are proud to be regularly recognized as a TOP EMPLOYER. At the same time, we are transforming how we work – becoming agile, more collaborative, and closer to our customers. We aim to respond faster to change, simplify our processes, and continuously improve the value we deliver.

Customer-Facing Tribes work at the heart of our customer experience, directly engaging with customers and delivering products, services, and end-to-end journeys across the full value chain—from acquisition through service to tailored solutions.

Within our Customer Solutions Business, these Tribes play a key role in driving customer value and business growth. They are responsible for delivering value to our customers, and their focus is to attain and grow customers.

Your role

The Tribe Leader is a senior business leader accountable for a defined customer-centric value domain, bringing together multiple product teams to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions.

Acting as a ‘mini-CEO’ of the domain, the role owns customer and business outcomes, including value delivery, performance, and long-term sustainability. The Tribe Leader translates company strategy into actionable Tribe-level priorities and ensures measurable business value is delivered through empowered, cross-functional teams. This role reports directly to the Board, ensuring strong alignment between Tribe outcomes and company strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the Tribe’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives in alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Own and drive end-to-end value delivery within the Tribe, with accountability for business outcomes such as P&L, customer satisfaction (e.g. NPS), market impact, and return on investment.
  • Establish and maintain the Tribe roadmap, priorities, and OKRs, ensuring alignment across product teams, Product Owners, and other Tribes.
  • Lead planning, monitoring, and performance management through clear KPIs and OKRs; prepare inputs for quarterly planning and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).
  • Create an environment that enables autonomous, high-performing, cross-functional product teams and supports effective collaboration and alignment.
  • Lead and develop key Tribe roles and focus on people development, capacity planning, and team health.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and act as the primary interface to senior leadership; align expectations, manage dependencies, and handle escalations.
  • Ensure appropriate governance, quality standards, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Own the Tribe budget and resource allocation; ensure cost transparency and efficient use of resources in collaboration with Finance.

Who we are looking for

  • A natural servant leader who inspires rather than directs: You lead through influence, not authority, and build a strong team culture based on trust, ownership, and transparency. You enjoy developing people, fostering engagement, and acting as a role model - especially in times of change.
  • A delivery champion who turns plans into outcomes: You drive reliable delivery of business value with a strong focus on results. You remove obstacles, set clear priorities, and continuously improve ways of working to enhance flow, quality, and predictability.
  • A business-minded problem solver: You combine strong customer focus with solid business understanding. You use data to guide decisions, balance trade-offs, and consistently deliver measurable business impact.
  • Someone who is comfortable with ambiguity: You thrive in complex and uncertain environments, make sound decisions even with limited information, manage risks effectively, and keep teams aligned and focused.
  • A clear communicator and collaborative partner: You build strong alignment across stakeholders, communicate openly and effectively, influence decisions, and work seamlessly across boundaries with a holistic mindset.
  • A strategic thinker with a practical mindset: You translate strategy into clear priorities and actionable steps, balancing short-term delivery with long-term direction while staying open to new trends and opportunities.
  • A people developer and team builder: You help build strong, diverse teams and actively support growth through coaching, feedback, and talent development, working closely with Chapter Leads.
  • Someone with strong ownership and self-management: You are accountable, independent, and highly effective in how you work. You take ownership of decisions and deliver with consistency and credibility.
  • Someone with C1/C2 Czech and English proficiency.
