The Team – your impact
The domain “Process Automation” is part of Global Technology Platforms (GTP). GTP builds, maintains, and continuously improves scalable, value adding platforms for the E.ON group.
As product team “Workflow Orchestration” within the domain “Process Automation”, we take ownership of the E.ON wide Business Process Management Platform.
Your Role – meaningful & rewarding
- Implement the roadmap of our future proof BPM platform
- Develop and operate our central BPM platform (frontend and backend functionalities) and associated services
- Implement, test and document technical requirements that enhance the platform product offering, focusing on automation, AI capabilities and self-services
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to align solutions with E.ON’s common technology platform strategy
- Foster collaboration and sharing knowledge within the team
- Transform structures into our new operating model (Nautilus), driving agility and DevOps practices
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement
Your Profile – authentic & open-minded
- Degree in computer science, IT, or related field, with solid experience in business process management
- Several years of hands-on experience with business process management tools and connected systems
- Practical software development skills (e.g. JavaScript or any scripting language, Java)
- Containerization hands-on experience (e.g. Docker)
- Expertise with cloud hyperscalers (e.g. AWS, Azure)
- Expertise with Kubernetes cluster management (preferably EKS or AKS)
- Expertise with database management (e.g. Oracle or PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with infrastructure as code and GitOps (e.g. Crossplane, ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible)
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing and optimizing BPM workflows is a plus
- Monitoring and troubleshooting skills (knowledge in New Relic is a plus)
- Solid conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with openness to new challenges and out-of-the-box thinking.
- Independent, self-responsible working style combined with strong teamwork abilities.
- Fluent in English; German is a plus.
