Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Administration: Oversee the meticulous administration and archiving of various contract types, ensuring compliance and accessibility.
  • Contract Execution: Provide robust support in contract execution and maintain professional external correspondence with our valued counterparties.
  • Working Group Coordination: Actively support the organization of the Contract Management Working Group, promoting synergy across regions.
  • Process Optimization: Contribute to the continuous improvement and establishment of best-in-class departmental processes.
  • Compliance Checks: Conduct thorough counterparty compliance checks, upholding our commitment to regulatory adherence.
  • Internal Controls: Execute and document internal controls, reinforcing our operational standards.
  • Database Maintenance: Manage the contract management database with precision, updating counterparty information and reference data diligently.
  • Internal Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal stakeholders such as trading desks, legal, tax, regulatory compliance, accounting, back office, and credit departments following conclusion of energy trading related contracts to ensure that all relevant aspects of the trading business are appropriately and efficiently covered in the contract landscape

 

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Law or a comparable qualification.
  • Work Experience: Several years of experience in contract management functions, preferably within the energy trading sector including basic knowledge and experience of standard agreements (e.g., EFET, ISDA) used in the industry
  • Analytical Skills: A strong analytical mindset, coupled with exceptional organizational skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in standard IT business applications.
  • Attention to Detail: An ability to perform accurately and autonomously under high-volume business demands.
  • Initiative: A willingness to assume responsibility for projects and processes, demonstrating leadership potential.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in both English and German, enabling effective communication in a multicultural environment.
