The Team - your impact

As part of our team, you will take responsibility for the shared "Configuration Management Data Base" (CMDB), its integrity, the functionalities based on it and usability in close coordination with the connected business areas. 

Your Role - meaningful & rewarding

• Implementing ServiceNow best practices, aligning with ITIL guidelines, and leveraging CSDM standards. 

• ITOM and CMDB enhancements, Integration design and implementation (Service Graph connectors) 

• Designing and implementing of (IRE) Identification and Reconciliation Engine 

• Supporting development activities, ensuring meeting the deliverables 

• Reviewing the effectiveness and efficiency of the CMDB process 

• Implementing CMDB dashboards to ensure CMDB data accuracy, completeness, and correctness 

• Improving CI lifecycle management, ensuring up-to-data across the platform 

• Troubleshooting and resolving discovery and mapping issues to maintain accurate CMDB data 

• Setting up Service Mapping to map applications and services to their underlying infrastructure 

• You will support the CMDB Product team on its current DevOps journey by actively participating in all knowledge sharing activities and actively taking over DevOps activities in the team. Means you will independently carry out technical changes on the platform or assess and understand a developer's implementations. 

• You will establish a close relationship with key stakeholder and pro-actively initiate process improvements.  

• You will ensure your team has an appropriate and comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and specifications you have been working on. 

Your Profile - authentic & open-minded

• Several years of experience in the realm of ServiceNow platform, as well as ServiceNow Certifications as CSA, CAD, Test Management and CMDB Micro certification. 

• Practical experience in agile and DevOps way of working and previous experience as ServiceNow developer. 

• Excellent and effective communication skills and the ability to clearly describe complex topics. 

• Capable of managing complex-tasks and very good project management skills. 

• Fluent in English, German language skills are advantageous.
