As part of a performance-oriented and highly motivated team, you are expected to work independently on challenging tasks with far-reaching implications for the strategic positioning and financial performance of the E.ON Group. In this central steering function, you will closely cooperate with other stakeholders both in Corporate Headquarters and in E.ON's Business Unit.

- Expertise: Being a key member of the valuation and investment expertise hub for the entire E.ON Group
- Valuation: Leading valuation workstreams and preparing performance analysis for senior management decisions, for example E.ON SE Board decisions on M&A and investment projects with group impact
- Modelling: Holistic designing and modelling in the context of special projects, for example the development of new business cases
- Accounting: Leading the group-wide asset and goodwill impairment test process, as well as the purchase price allocation for acquisitions of the E.ON Group under the applicable IFRS and IDW standards

- Innovation: Shaping and enhancing our tool landscape by further developing and optimizing the valuation tool ecosystem, bringing own ideas to life and driving digital innovation

- Governance: Governing the Group’s valuation and investment policies, including continuously refining processes and methods

You also recognize yourself in the following points:
- Professional qualifications: Excellent university degree, ideally complemented by master and/or postgraduate studies in Finance, e.g. Ph.D., CFA or CVA
- Professional experience: Several years of relevant professional experience in corporate finance, transaction services and/or controlling, ideally with a focus on business valuation
- Leadership experience: Experience in leading valuation workstreams, driving topics independently and managing senior-level decision processes in a group-wide context
- Specific expertise: Profound knowledge of capital market theory, pricing mechanisms and key capital market players, deep experience in financial modelling and excellent MS Excel skills; ideally knowledge of Financial Market Information Systems such as Bloomberg or S&P Capital IQ, as well as technical affinity including experience with programming, APIs, Power Apps or Power BI
- What sets you apart: Strong analytical skills, a high level of numeracy, strong presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills as well as assertiveness
- Working method: High level of self-organization and personal drive, ability to work well under time pressure and experience working in cross-functional teams
- Language skills: Fluency in both English and German
