Within System Technology, we define the technical requirements for system technology and asset standards for all the E.ON DSO. 

We are looking for an Executive Role as a Vice President System Technology (f/m/d) to join our E.ON SE team as soon as possible. If you are interested, please apply by March, 28th. 

A job that inspires

• You are responsible for the strategic development of system technology and the definition of a corresponding future target picture for all electricity and gas grids in Energy Networks (EN)
• You steer the development of the technical product portfolio (incl. technology scouting) and standards of Energy Networks, i.e. grid components, construction and operating methods for all E.ON DSO 
• You are responsible for steering group-wide implementation projects for new standards 
• You enforce strategic decisions in the area of system technology towards top leadership levels, like the management boards of E.ON SE and the Energy Networks business units
• You ensure strategic development of the group-wide technical product management of the core assets in close collaboration with the technical product managers 
• You manage the technical risk exposure, especially considering new requirements (e.g. regulation on sustainability, cybersecurity, digital product life cycles)
• You take steering responsibility for group-wide industrialization and standardisation of the Energy Networks core processes "Build Networks", as well as the corresponding supplier management
• You mitigate market bottlenecks and strengthen E.ON's market position through targeted innovation 

A convincing background

•  You have a master’s degree in engineering or a comparable/equivalent degree
• You have experience in system technology or similar technical experience in Energy Networks and an extensive knowledge of the technicalities of electricity and gas distribution networks
• You are experienced in product development, standardization and innovation
• You have a proven track record on leadership and assertiveness and you are able to lead by common vision and strategic thinking in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
• You are an excellent communicator and negotiator with the ability to convince stakeholders on all levels, especially on management board level
• You are passionate about improving efficiency continuously and driving change and innovation
• You show a strong customer focus as well as stakeholder orientation
• You are fluent in German and English, additional relevant languages are a plus
