The Team – your impact
Our integration team at "Global Technology Platforms" unit implements, owns and operates E.ON Technology Platforms, following our platform principles and delivering capabilities as well as functions needed for the digital transformation of the E.ON Group. In your role as Application Engineer for our Central Integration Platform you and your product team will be responsible to deliver our product roadmap around the utilization of MuleSoft.

Your Role – meaningful & rewarding

• The continuous extension, improvement, and optimization of the group-wide integration platform based on MuleSoft is a key responsibility
• Collaboration takes place within an international team, following an Agile and product-centric approach
• The conception and technical implementation of strategic platform epics are driven forward, including the creation of standardized patterns for recurring requirements
• Active enablement and coaching of group-wide solution teams support the effective consumption of platform products and assets
• Keeping up to date with innovation and technology trends helps shape the strategy and roadmap for the API management domain

  
Your profile – authentic & open-minded

Technical Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications with relevant professional experience
• Strong expertise in API management and application integration solutions (ideally MuleSoft Anypoint, Azure Integration Services, or SAP CPI) within enterprises
• Extensive experience with integration and cloud technologies, particularly networking in cloud environments (VPN, VNET, DNS, etc.)
• Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Java, and Bash
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Crossplane) and Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration technologies (e.g., Git, GitLab)

Soft skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Profound experience in design & development of IT-system/solution architectures
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills for communication and achieving common goals with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
• Fluent German and English language skills
