Your tasks

 

  • Facilitate end2end product development for new propositions (i.e. smart-meter tariffs, flexibility products, etc.) with focus on energy markets processes in Germany
  • Management of various technical interfaces between German E.ON internal retail units and energy markets functions
  • Creation of an environment which fosters continuous improvements along the value chain with a strong technical focus
  • Enable conformity for future retail products along existing IT-systems and respective processes within energy markets
  • Push for alignment of resource prioritization (IT-Budget, staff, etc) across different entities and existing processes with a “New product approval process”
  • Strive for harmonization of process procedures across various core market to benefit from synergies in embedded systems.

 

Your profile

 

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) or related fields
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in developing and implementing technical processes in an Energy Markets environment
  • In depth knowledge (generalist) of core energy markets processes in risk management (hedging), forecasting, trading, optimization, certificates, etc. and experience with related IT systems
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end value chain for existing and future products with focus on energy markets aspects including regulatory topics
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset to facilitate prioritization
  • Big data analytical skills (i.e. python, SQL or similar)
  • Project management experience
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills and experience in interface management
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken) as well as high sense of ownership, responsibility, and drive to deliver
