Responsibilities
- Overall target setting, including Capex allocation and full Profit & Loss responsibility for the directly steered business
- Oversee the overall operations and maintenance strategy of EPPB’s assets, including operational responsibility, and drive digitalisation and technology initiatives
- Ensure HSE-compliant operations of EPPB’s assets, including the development and implementation of a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) framework and mindset
- Drive the continuous decarbonisation of the asset and product portfolio through the use of new technologies
- Drive business development through the implementation of a competency model and the leveraging of cross-company synergies
- Foster a strong focus on culture building within the organisation
- Manage internal and external relationships, fostering effective collaboration and communication, and contribute to collaboration initiatives within the EEP Group and EIS organisation
Requirements
- University degree in Economics, Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
- Substantial executive leadership experience, ideally international, with a proven ability to build, structure and lead new functions and organisations
- Strong background in a commercially driven industry, combined with deep expertise in the energy sector (urban development, industrial clients, city infrastructure)
- Excellent leadership, management and organisational capabilities with a strong track record of delivery
- Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills
- Results-oriented, with a pragmatic, solution-focused and problem-solving approach, and an entrepreneurial mindset to drive change
- Fluent in English and Dutch (C1 level) and willing to travel regularly (20–40%)
