We’re looking for a UX/UI Designer to join our Digital Self-Care & Engagement team and shape the digital experience of E.ON customers across the E.ON App and other digital touchpoints such as the Customer Portal (mobile and desktop).
You’ll design intuitive, engaging and inclusive experiences that make energy management simpler and more meaningful for both B2C and B2B customers.
From login to everyday use, you’ll help transform ideas into seamless digital journeys that truly empower users: at E.ON, we believe that great design has the power to change how people experience energy.
Responsibilities
- Design compelling and user-centric interfaces for E.ON’s digital products and services.
- Define experience patterns (flows, components, shortcuts, interfaces) ensuring a consistent and delightful user journey.
- Conduct UX analysis and benchmarking, staying up to date with design trends and competitor best practices.
- Transform complex requirements into clear, tangible design solutions, collaborating closely with Product Owners, Developers and other stakeholders.
- Communicate your design ideas through wireframes, flows, prototypes and mockups at different levels of fidelity.
- Validate and improve existing experiences through qualitative and quantitative feedback (e.g. funnel analysis, user interviews, usability testing).
- Ensure accessibility (WCAG compliance) and brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in UX/UI design for digital products or services.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Advanced knowledge of Figma (or equivalent design tool).
- Basic understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and Google Analytics 4 (or similar tools).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to present design concepts clearly across different levels of the organization
- Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban).
- Previous involvement in App-based projects.
- Experience in the energy sector or with large organizations (+100 employees).
- Strong business awareness and the ability to connect design decisions with business outcomes.
