Here's what you'll be doing
npower Business Solutions (nBS) is the E.ON UK Industrial and Commercial (I&C) pillar and a market leader in the B2B energy retail sector. I&C is a £7 billion revenue business serving c20,000 customers and approximately 200,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Campaign & Journey Lead to join our team on an 18-month fixed-term contract basis. For this role, you will develop and deliver digital and non-digital campaigns that drive customer engagement, lead generation, and long-term commercial growth. You will create customer journeys and be the go-to expert for campaign execution, automation, and performance tracking. This role offers the hybrid working approach, where you will be working in the office (Solihull) approximately 1 day per week.
Key responsibilities
- Develop creative, insight-led campaign ideas that engage business energy customers and third-party intermediaries.
- Identify trends and market opportunities to inform campaign strategy.
- Work closely with data, product, sales, regulatory, and infrastructure teams to maximise performance and efficiency.
- Engage and manage external partners, such as creative agencies or telemarketing firms, to support campaign delivery.
- Ensure campaign plans are fully aligned with the broader marketing strategy.
- Managing either in-house or agency-based creative development to produce clear and compelling marketing communications.
- Developing and continually optimising automated customer journeys: tracking multiple digital touchpoints and introducing new means of engagement.
- Driving engagement with online customer services, including account portals and digital tools, including on / off boarding.
- Ensuring effective alignment with other prospect and customer communications (such as billing), through close cross-team collaboration.
- Continually developing and maintaining robust reporting processes to measure the success of campaign and journey activity.
- Manage campaign automation, A/B testing and email optimisation to maximise customer engagement and overall campaign success rates.
- Ensuring GDPR is followed, and compliance is maintained: making recommendations for any delivery aspects that could be enhanced in this regard.
- Manage consistency of brand and tone of voice in all marketing and communication materials.
What we need from you
- Strong creative and copywriting skills.
- Experience within campaign asset creation and basic data management.
- The ability to produce compelling and professional Microsoft PowerPoint presentations within brand parameters.
- An ability to unpack complexity and engage diverse audiences in solving problems.
- Lead generation skills, with stakeholder management.
It would be great if you had
- Demonstrable experience within a marketing / marketing communications-based role.
- Experience of using online marketing tools such as HubSpot or CRM.
- A track record of successful commercial delivery and sustained value creation.
- Marketing agency and client experience.
- Experience within the UK Energy industry.
