We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Contract Manager to join our in- life EIS Contract Team. At E.ON, we focus on helping new and existing customers transform their business with a range of energy solutions. As a Junior Contract Manager, you will manage a diverse range of contracts within our B2B Sales business. You will be responsible for the entire contract management of Commercial customer agreements and play a pivotal role in supporting the commercial reporting on contract performance to the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full contract management cycle of commercial customer agreements within our B2B business.
- Support commercial reporting on contract performance to the wider business.
- Conduct holistic assessments of opportunities and risks, supporting Contract and Commercial Managers in developing, managing, and delivering identified programmes and transactions.
- Proactively manage and collaborate with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including key partners across Operations, New Business Commercial functions, Solutions Sales, Delivery, Finance, Environment, Legal, and Strategy and Policy, to ensure E.ON meets its obligations within B2B customer contracts.
- Mitigate risks by aligning with policy, legal, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Manage E.ON’s credit exposure through active assessments of contracts.
- Manage transition arrangements for any contracts where these come to completion and are or are not renewed.
What we need from you
- Personal impact and Influencing skills demonstrated through using commercial management tools & techniques. (e.g Excel)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders effectively and build strong relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to identify and balance key commercial, strategic, and creative issues or opportunities while providing clarity and insight.
- A proactive, self- starting approach and willingness to learn as required.
- The ability to multitask and manage numerous contracts whilst maintaining focus under pressure.
