We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Digital Technology & Change team in our Solihull office on a hybrid basis. As a valuable team member, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing the nPower Business Solutions (nBS) strategy to enhance the digital customer and colleague experience. Join us in our transition towards a Product led DevOps model and contribute to shaping our operational approach and capabilities as we expand our business. nBS is the E.ON Industrial and Commercial (I&C) area of EON and a market leader in the energy retail sector. I&C is a £7 billion revenue business serving c30,000 customers and approximately 250,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.

Project Manager

Here's what you'll be doing

  • Drive allocated I&C projects through to implementation, ensuring high-quality standards within the agreed governance framework.
  • Manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies effectively.
  • Provide expert guidance to the project team for improved delivery of change.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and schedules.
  • Oversee commercial arrangements with third-party providers and necessary approvals.
  • Define and manage project budget, forecast costs and benefits, and seek approval for changes to the baseline.
  • Own and manage all relevant stakeholders, driving change and achieving agreed outcomes.
  • Lead multi-functional project teams and third-party solution partners.

What we need from you

  • Experience in Agile and/or waterfall environments delivering customer-led outcomes.
  • Experience in driving performance through leadership and personal development.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and navigate complex data and processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of project planning, management, and strategic change planning.
  • Sound financial knowledge and experience in budget formulation and management.
  • Desired:

  • Industry knowledge or understanding of utilities and their core activities.
  • A recognised Project Management qualification (APM PMQ, PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent)
