Here's what you'll be doing

At E.ON UK we are looking for experienced Procurement professionals with at least 10 years of experience who can add value to the UK Procurement team through sourcing, tendering, negotiation and contract placement.

We are recruiting individuals to support delivery of our B2B and B2C solutions covering categories such as Electric Vehicle networks, Low Carbon Heating, Solar PV, Highways Lighting, City Decarbonisation schemes and large-scale energy solution projects (Solar PV, Heat Pumps, Wind and Battery).

 

What Will I Be Doing?

  • Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to senior business decision makers, understanding business requirements and strategically engage with the supply market to open new, competitive supply channels.
  • Shape E.ON’s Sourcing Strategy: Define and implement sourcing strategies for your categories, ensuring they align with business needs and deliver value.
  • Foster Innovation: Collaborate with E.ON’s technical and business experts to identify opportunities for innovation within categories.
  • Knowing the Market: Understand the supply market for your categories to effectively mitigate risk, develop partnerships and deliver innovation.
  • Tendering: Lead the end-to-end sourcing process, from demand analysis to supplier implementation, in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Drive Savings and Efficiency: Help identify and achieve targets for savings, value, and efficiency across assigned categories and business areas.
  • Support Contract Management: Provide commercial, contractual and vendor management advice to stakeholders to support the mitigation of risks through implementation of corrective actions.  

What we need from you

  • We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is an Experienced Procurement Professional: You will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant commercial roles. MCIPS qualified or working towards is desirable but not essential.
