What will you do

• Provide technical support in the data network, including troubleshooting WAN/ LAN, Video, Cloud and Wireless issues

• Monitor the entire telecommunications infrastructure and the network performance and propose measures for improvement

• Keep all network equipment configurations updated and replace defective network equipment, when necessary

• Define and approve the maintenance windows

• Document network issues in the ticketing system, including incidents, changes and problem management

• Identify, remediate and isolate the incident and restore voice and data services to the customer's end users

• Work together with the local and central technical teams to find the best solutions to ensure the stability of the network and telecommunication infrastructure

• Recommend, based on Group standards and business needs, the purchase of IT equipment specific to the IT network infrastructure

How do you know you are the right fit

• Education/ Training: Bachelor’s degree
• Professional Experience:

  • At least 3 years experience in the administration/ configuration and troubleshooting of network equipment, such as Cisco/Ubiquiti/Extreme (Switches, routers, access points)

  • Experienced to design and implement fiber optic infrastructures

  • Knowledge of IP addressing systems (address classes, DNS, gateway)

  • Knowledge of application transport protocols and network infrastructure

  • Expertise with LAN/WAN technologies, POE, VLANs, dynamic routing

  • Solid knowledge in communication and Wireless technologies

  • Experience working with telecommunications infrastructure monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Zabbix, Netdisco)

  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework, IT security systems, SDWAN
