As SAP Basis Expert you will be expected to:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, monitoring and optimising the performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Manage and oversee the SAP environment on Azure and on RISE, ensuring smooth operations to defined service levels and the optimal use of cloud services
• Work with E.ON application teams and key partners to plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and releases, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and automation within the SAP Basis team, also establishing governance processes for the SAP RISE, including service reviews,
• Implement and maintain all required security measures to protect SAP systems from unauthorised access and vulnerabilities, maintaining disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity of the SAP landscape.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SAP Basis specialists and external partners, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

Your Experiences
To succeed in this role, we believe you need:

• Solid experience in SAP technologies ideally with a background as a solution architect, or a solution engineer
• Relevant certifications in SAP services (e.g. NetWeaver, S/4HANA, BW, PO, BTP and other SAP solutions) and a strong technical foundation, with knowledge of setting up and managing SAP environments and applications.
• Experience managing roadmaps and backlogs, with the ability to work both strategically and hands-on to drive excellence.

As a person you listen actively, engage smoothly in dialogues and act as a bridge between development teams, partners, service providers and other product/platform owners. You excel at building and maintaining relationships, both internally and externally with an understanding of business needs.
