We are looking for a Controlling Business Analyst & Continuous Improvement Lead to join our team based in either the Nottingham or Coventry Office. This role offers from £66,660 - £79,595 along with a market leading benefits package.

Controlling Business Analyst & Continuous Improvement Lead

Here's what you'll be doing

Join our Central Planning Reporting team and collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including business area Controllers, accounting teams, and CSDI experts. You'll play a key role in identifying opportunities to streamline and automate planning and reporting processes, driving efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote continuous improvement including reviewing and optimising ways of working.
  • Seek out examples of best practice and emerging trends in financial planning & reporting.
  • Act as agents of change in development of new tools and processes.
  • Working closely with stakeholders, to understand business problems, to gather requirements and ideas, to bring good business outcomes
  • Support the development of user stories for system and process changes.
  • Scopes work and plans delivery timelines with customer
  • Create and maintain a system/process change plan for the Central Planning & Reporting team
  • Responsible for business stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Support testing and release of finance products with developers, and business stakeholders to land the change well
  • Lead in defining the scope of works and partnering with stakeholders to manage and prioritise work items into the commercial services digitalisation roadmap

  • Finance understanding and experience working in Finance teams
