Here's what you'll be doing
Join our team as a Finance Business Partner, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping financial strategy and driving business performance across Support Functions and the UK Centre. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence key decisions and contribute to the overall success of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month End: Complete the month end financial process for Support Functions and UK Centre consisting of journals, reporting in SAP and to provide insightful analysis and feedback to key stakeholders via regular performance reviews.
- FTE Governance: Approval of all vacancies within Support Functions ensuring that budget owners remain within governance and the cost base is understood.
- Project Governance: Key interface between Central and Controlling teams on delivery of holistic Central E.ON projects.
- Coordinating the forecast and business plan: Working with Support Functions teams to agree a clear framework and process for forecasting that delivers on the UK requirements . Ensure accuracy of planning data in finance systems. Provide insightful reporting and commentary to support storytelling and ensuring that the cost base is fully understood.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial & commercial processes including moving to SAP 4U, automation and working with the CS Digital and Innovation team on providing a reporting suite for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Regular performance management dialogue with budget holders within Support Functions and Central projects.
- Team / Projects: Support across the Central Functions team as required to promote efficiency and insight. Support on Strategic projects as required.
What we need from you
- You will be a qualified/part qualified accountant and have relevant experience in financial roles.
- You have good stakeholder management skills to support & hold to account both Finance and Non-Finance Seniors.
- You can coordinate the financial planning process through great collaboration and organisation skills.
- You have a Commercial Mindset to challenge the business on financial decisions.
- You have a process improvement mindset
