ICP Residential Manager

Here's what you'll be doing

Salary- £75,000-£93,000

Company car/allowance + great company benefits

Home based involving nationwide travel

Our Residential ICP business is a key part of E.ON’s growing utility infrastructure offering, supporting the UK’s expanding residential market. With a dedicated operation, a strong pipeline of opportunities and established relationships with leading housing developers, we have built the foundations for significant growth.

This is more than an operational management role. We’re looking for a leader who can shape, develop and scale our Residential ICP business, with the autonomy to assess and improve our structure, ways of working, commercial processes, tendering and supply chain strategy. Working directly with the Managing Director, you’ll have the opportunity to influence the future direction of the business, drive improved tender conversion and commercial performance, and build a high-performing residential ICP operation in the UK market.

It’s an opportunity to bring your industry expertise into an entrepreneurial environment, backed by the investment, scale and reputation of E.ON — building something, shaping it and leaving a lasting impact on our residential infrastructure business.

We are seeking an experienced ICP Residential Manager to lead the successful delivery of residential utility infrastructure projects across electricity, gas and water networks.  You will take ownership of multiple housing and mixed-use developments, managing operational delivery, commercial performance, customer relationships and health & safety compliance from contract award through to energisation, adoption and final handover.

This is a leadership role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with BDMs using your experience and contacts to reach and develop further relationships.
  • Manage a portfolio of multi-Utility residential projects, monitoring project performance against programme, budget and quality targets.
  • Build and develop the ICP Residential team, shaping the future structure of the business unit.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with client requirements and contractual obligations and accreditations.
  • Manage change control, variations and contractual risks.
  • Provide regular operational and commercial reporting.
  • Coordinate electricity, gas and water installations across multiple sites and ensure resources are effectively allocated to meet delivery programmes.
  • Liaise with DNOs, IDNOs, Water Authorities and Gas Transporters.
  • Drive continuous improvement and delivery efficiencies.
  • Manage project revenue, margin, cash flow and financial performance, maximising commercial opportunities and mitigating risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, housebuilders and strategic customers, acting as the senior point of contact and managing key meetings and escalations.
  • Promote a positive safety culture by ensuring compliance with CDM, NRSWA and company procedures through inspections, audits, RAMS reviews and incident investigations.

What we need from you

  • Significant experience within the multi-utility sector.
  • Experience of working with residential housing developers and building strong working relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of electricity, gas and water utility installation.
  • Proven contract or operations management experience.
