Here's what you'll be doing
At E.ON, our degree apprenticeship programme offers you the chance to kick-start your career by working full-time, earning a competitive salary, and studying towards a fully funded degree. Over four to five years, you’ll complete a series of placements across different areas of our business. Each placement is designed to complement your university studies while helping you build valuable skills, explore your interests within the energy sector, and grow a strong professional network.
As a degree apprentice, you’ll spend most of your time gaining hands-on experience at work, with the remainder dedicated to part-time university study. This could include attending university for a few days or even a full week at certain times of the year, depending on your course’s structure. On average, you’ll spend around 80% of your time working and 20% studying.
Every year, we offer a variety of degree apprenticeship opportunities aligned with the future skills our business needs. While the programmes for our September 2026 intake haven’t been confirmed yet, we’ll share updates on our careers site as soon as they become available.
What we need from you
Our programmes are competitive, and while entry requirements may vary depending on the scheme, we typically look for GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above, along with A-levels at grade B or equivalent qualifications.
We’re looking for future-focused individuals who are passionate about creating a sustainable world. People who are eager to combine academic learning with hands-on experience. If you’re curious, driven, and ready to grow, you could be the perfect fit for one of our apprenticeships.
