As a key player at the heart of E.ON’s People strategy, you’ll collaborate directly with senior leaders and Trade Union partners to shape the future of Industrial Relations, Collective Reward, and People Policy UK-wide. This unique opportunity will expand your expertise beyond a single business area, empowering you to influence transformational change and make a meaningful difference across E.ON.
Champion the development and implementation of the UK Industrial Relations strategy, tightly aligned with our broader People priorities
- Forge and nurture strong, constructive partnerships with Lead Trade Union Representatives, acting as a crucial liaison for union engagement
- Drive continuous improvement of our Employee Relations framework and HSE facilitation arrangements
- Provide clear, authoritative interpretations of policies, frameworks, and collective agreements to both union and business stakeholders
- Lead consultation initiatives aimed at modernising collective agreements and workforce frameworks, helping us stay ahead of change
- Proactively identify emerging risks and deliver practical, effective solutions to ensure smooth Industrial Relations across the business
- Play a pivotal role in organisational change by supporting consultation planning, communications, and implementation
- Collaborate seamlessly with specialist teams—including Reward, Payroll, Safe & Well, and Data & Insights—to deliver coordinated, impactful IR solutions
What we need from you
- Proven HR or Employee Relations experience
- Deep understanding of our business context and key stakeholder landscape
- Solid knowledge of employment legislation and Trade Union environments
- Strategic thinker with a knack for delivering practical, solution-oriented outcomes
- Confident relationship builder who can challenge constructively and influence effectively
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable navigating complexity and change
