PMO Reporting & Analytics Lead

We've got an exceptional opportunity to join AOG as a PMO Reporting and Analytics Lead. 

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive reporting frameworks for a newly established Programme Management Office (PMO). You will transform project data into clear insights for senior stakeholders, playing a pivotal role in identifying inefficiencies and driving continuous improvement. Your insights will directly influence project prioritisation supporting senior stakeholders to make data informed decisions while ensuring resources are allocated effectively across diverse projects. 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Design and implement a reporting system that enhances visibility into project performance across the business. 
  • Develop project categorisation methods to streamline tracking and prioritisation of resources. 
  • Create dashboards that offer real-time insights into KPIs, risks, and opportunities for senior stakeholders. 
  • Manage the collection and analysis of project data, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals. 
  • Engage with PMO teams and senior management to tailor reports that drive action and enhance project outcomes. 
  • Monitor project performance by tracking key indicators such as timelines, budgets, risks, and benefits, while providing the PMO Manager and executive team with detailed reports and insights to support project prioritisation, and resource allocation. 

What we need from you

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project Management, analytics, or equivalent experience 

in a related field. 

  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with project management software, reporting tools (such as Power BI, Tableau), and data visualisation techniques. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear, concise, and impactful manner. 

  • Significant experience in developing and managing project reporting systems, with a focus on operational or cross-functional projects. 

  • Proven ability to create reporting frameworks and dashboards for senior executives, tailored to their specific needs. 

  • Strong background in project categorisation, data collection, and analytics within a PMO or project management environment. 

  • Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments. 

 

It would be great if you have

  • Experience working within a newly established PMO. 

  • Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for operational efficiency. 

  • Familiarity with project portfolio management (PPM) tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar. 

  • Project management qualifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or APMP. 

  • Certification or training in data tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel)  

  • Experience in project management within operational or business transformation projects.
