Location – Nottingham or Solihull (Hybrid working)

Salary - £46,636 - £58,937 plus excellent employee benefits and career progression

Fixed term - 6 months

 

Are you passionate about social media and ready to make a real impact? At E.ON, we’re seeking a dynamic Social Media Specialist

 

In this role you are responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives, creating engaging content, and managing relationships with agency partners.

 

Monitor and engage with followers, foster relationships with online communities, and encourage user-generated content. Additionally, they utilise social media analytics tools to track performance, generate reports, and stay updated on social media trends and best practices.

 

Main responsibilities of the role

Social Media Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with EIS business goals.
  • Set KPIs and benchmarks to measure platform success.

Content Creation & Management:

  • Collaborate with content and design teams to produce high-quality visuals, videos, and copy.
  • Manage social media calendars, schedule posts, and ensure brand consistency.
  • Create and curate engaging content across platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube).
  • Develop a self-serve social media toolkit and provide training for internal colleagues.

 

Agency Management:

  • Work with the preferred social media agency to deliver content efficiently and meet performance targets.

 

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with followers promptly and professionally, fostering community relationships and encouraging participation.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external online communities.

 

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Use analytics tools to track performance, generate reports, and provide data-driven recommendations.

 

Trend Monitoring & Innovation:

  • Stay current on social media trends and tools.
  • Experiment with new content formats and platforms to keep EIS’s brand innovative.

What we need from you

  • Experienced Social Media Professional with strong track record in reputation management and marketing campaign delivery.
  • Demonstrable background of creativity, innovation and disruption.
  • Experience in a large, complex, matrix organisation requiring strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Delivery-focused professional, with ability to work at pace and autonomously if required.
  • Proven ability to influence at senior management levels.
  • Track record of high quality, creative output and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience of planning, briefing, delivering and measuring the performance of both planned and responsive content.
  • Ability to track, analyse, and optimise campaign performance based on KPIs.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills for creating compelling social content.
  • Experience in Identifying and collaborating with influencers, managing relationships, and tracking ROI.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to analyse and utilize target audience behaviour, market trends, and competitor insights.
