The Data Engineer is a key technical team member responsible for building, deploying, and supporting data delivery solutions, interfaces, infrastructure, MI, and reporting to optimise nBS data management capabilities. They design and deliver high-quality MI, executive reporting, consolidated business data, analytics, and data quality management tools, advocating for data as the organisation’s top asset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support delivery of change projects with expertise. 
  • Develop data solutions to meet business needs. 
  • Create key reports and analytics. 
  • Maintain and support solutions, ensuring performance and stability. 
  • Manage Robotic Process Automations for quality. 
  • Maintain nBS Data Delivery Artifacts. 
  • Continuously develop skills in platforms and methodologies. 
  • Promote data quality, governance, and innovation. 
  • Optimise data delivery and solution design. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and understand complex data processes. 
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and fair customer outcomes. 
  • Apply knowledge of change governance and project methods. 
  • Use MS Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, Visual Studio, SQL Server, GIT, and scripting languages. 
  • Communicate clearly with attention to detail.

What we need from you

  • Support delivery of change projects with your data expertise.
  • Develop and maintain data solutions and automation to meet business needs.
  • Create key reports and ensure solution performance and stability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and manage complex data across systems.
  • Follow change governance and agile/waterfall methodologies.
  • Use tools like Power BI, SQL, SSRS, SSIS, and code in SQL/PLSQL/SOQL.
  • Communicate clearly and maintain high accuracy and quality.
  • Continuously develop your skills and champion data quality and innovation.
  • Build strong relationships and promote collaboration to drive business value.
