Here's what you'll be doing
In this pivotal role, you will provide strategic financial insight and business partnering to senior stakeholders, supporting the understanding of key performance drivers and helping shape decision-making across the business. You’ll take ownership of financial reporting, planning, and analysis for the Utility Warehouse (UW) managed contract, and contribute to wider energy market initiatives and transformation programmes.

Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of P&L and Balance Sheet for the UW managed contract.
- Posting accruals and prepayments into SAP.
- Supporting Gross Margin Forecasting and high-level in-year forecasts for the UW contract.
- Collaborating with colleagues to produce monthly invoices for UW, including preparation and approval processes.
- Producing insightful management information to track financial performance versus plan and communicating outcomes to key stakeholders.
- Identifying and communicating risks and opportunities relating to the UW contract and broader energy markets business.
- Supporting business planning across energy markets.
- Delivering high-quality business partnering support to the Energy Markets Leadership Team (EMLT).
- Supporting interactions with E.ON’s external auditors and leading on key audit topics.
What we need from you
You’ll bring strong technical accounting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to influence and challenge decisions. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, providing clarity and insight through financial expertise.
You’ll ideally have:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or working towards a qualification.
- Excellent Excel skills and the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Adaptable mindset and eagerness to grow with the business.
- The desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
