- Gain a broad understanding of the I&C Hedging & Risk team and how it fits within the wider Energy Markets department, supporting the Industrial & Commercial (I&C) business.
- Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary depending on business needs and active projects, providing exposure to multiple aspects of the team’s work.
- Support the end-to-end delivery of new I&C products, building strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Learn about commodity hedging, risk management, and customer pricing in a commercial energy environment.
- See firsthand how risk models inform real-world business decisions and feed into customer pricing strategies.
- Run and monitor existing risk and hedging models, analyse outputs, investigate variances, and summarise findings clearly and concisely.
What we need from you
- Currently studying towards a degree with a strong analytical component.
- A genuine interest in the energy industry.
- Ability to analyse data, draw insights, and communicate findings effectively.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of goals and objectives.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Excel.
- Available to attend an interview in April 2026, if shortlisted
- Available to undertake the internship from June 2026 to October 2026
