This role provides an opportunity to operate as a trusted advisor to the New Business team, influencing key commercial decisions and shaping the strategic direction of the business. You will play a central role in delivering the Medium-Term Plan (MTP), driving performance and ensuring strong financial discipline across the business.
As a senior member of the team, you will lead planning and reporting activities, provide high-quality insights on monthly/quarterly performance, and challenge the business.

Main responsibilities of the role
- Develop key performance indicators and use financial and operational data to identify risks and opportunities, helping drive business performance. Produce actionable performance reports using EBS principles and share insights with relevant finance and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the wider team to establish a structured and effective forecasting process that aligns with EIS and Group planning requirements. Ensure accurate system reconciliation and high-quality forecast with clear, consistent messaging.
- Provide real-time support and analysis to the New Business team, delivering insights that add value and informed decision-making.
- Build and manage strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the B2B business and engage closely with the EIS leadership team.
- Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation within reporting and planning processes. Partner with the business to enhance financial management reporting and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support on developing and driving investment cases, business planning, performance reporting, and ensuring robust governance and controls.
What we need from you
- Qualified accountant with membership of a recognized professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Proven experience in finance business partnering, with a strong understanding of commercial operations.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Demonstrated ability to support decision-makers and consistently deliver high-quality output under pressure.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a track record of initiating and driving change.
- Adaptable, with a proactive and dynamic approach to problem-solving.
