Location – Solihull (Hybrid working – 2 days a week onsite)
Fixed term – 12 months
Join E.ON as a Settlement Analyst and play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of industry settlement data and cost reporting for both gas and electricity.
Your reporting responsibilities will also include the collation of data to support internal financial and external regulatory reporting.
Additionally, you will be on hand to resolve issues and monitor industry changes which may impact the accuracy of the data used in the reporting models.
Main responsibilities of the role
- Reporting: Own and/or support the creation of accurate and meaningful data for internal and external stakeholders e.g. Finance, National Grid and Ofgem.
- Exception Management: Review and resolve data errors which are triggered through the industry flow loading process.
- Process Improvement: identify opportunities to improve reporting and exception processes.
- Industry Change: Support the creation and maintenance of the central change register which is utilised to identify impacts.

What we need from you
- Ability to extract information and build reporting models from large datasets.
- You can translate the information from the large datasets into simple and understandable messages.
- You have knowledge and experience using data tools such as SAS/PowerBI/SQL/Excel.
- You have great attention to detail to ensure reporting is accurate and robust.
- You are results orientated and able to be organised and prioritise work to meet tight deadlines.
- A process improvement mindset.
