Here's what you'll be doing
npower Business Solutions (nBS) is the E.ON UK Industrial and Commercial (I&C) pillar and a market leader in the B2B energy retail sector. I&C is a £6 billion revenue business serving c60,000 customers and around 300,000 meter points with a view to becoming the number one B2B energy supplier in the UK.
We are looking for a Training Co-Ordinator to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis. For this role, you will support the planning, development, and delivery of training programs related to Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS). This role will involve coordinating training logistics, managing learning materials, tracking participation, and ensuring smooth execution of training sessions across the business. This role is based in Solihull with hybrid working.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and schedule training sessions (virtual, in-person, or blended learning).
- Manage invites, room bookings, and virtual platform setup.
- Liaise with trainers, SMEs, and stakeholders to coordinate training sessions.
- Support the creation, distribution, and maintenance of training materials, including guides, presentations, and e-learning content.
- Work closely with SMEs and external vendors to ensure content accuracy.
- Maintain a central repository of training materials (e.g., SharePoint, LMS).
- Monitor attendance, engagement, and completion rates for training programs.
- Maintain training records and generate reports to track progress and compliance.
- Support evaluation of training effectiveness and gather feedback for improvements.
- Act as the first point of contact for training queries from employees.
- Support employees with access to training platforms and materials.
- Assist in Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and provide administrative support for learning pathways.
What we need from you
- Strong organisational skills with experience in training coordination or Learning & Development (L&D) administration.
- Ability to schedule, manage logistics, and track training programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or training tracking tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
It would be great if you had
- Experience in coordinating training for large-scale business change programs (e.g., regulatory, process, or system changes).
- Familiarity with digital learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Assima, MyGenius).
- Knowledge of Market-Wide Half-Hourly Settlement (MHHS) or the UK energy sector.
