Street Lighting Electrician

Here's what you'll be doing

Location - Wednesbury

Salary - £40,208 plus excellent employee benefits

Join us as a Street Lighting Electrician and you'll be part of a team delivering essential street lighting and highway electrical works, from installation and wiring through to maintenance, testing and fault finding. With training provided, you'll also have the opportunity to carry out limited connections to DNO, IDNO and PCN networks, alongside excavation and reinstatement works across a range of surface types.

Main responsibilities

  • The safe use and operation of tools, equipment and vehicles associated with the role.
  • Working in a safe manner in accordance with the Company’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
  • Complying with operational working practices and associated risk assessments.
  • Taking full ownership for personal Health & Safety responsibilities.
  • Ensuring PPE is worn at all times.

What we need from you

  • C & G 236.
  • C & G 2365.
  • C & G 2382.
  • An appropriate G39 qualification.
  • Accreditation via the HEA.
  • Previous Street Lighting experience.
  • Previous MEWP experience.
