Your Responsibilities
- You support regulatory experts within the Contract Management team in monitoring and analyzing national and European regulatory developments affecting power, gas and environmental certificate markets
- You develop materials (e.g. memos, slide decks) to help communicate the implications of said regulatory developments to stakeholders within the organization (e.g. other regulatory experts, the strategy team, affiliates) and help shape lobbying positions
- You assist the team with tasks pertaining to its market access-related activities, such as pre-trading limits monitoring, due diligence questionnaires, brokerage agreements, new product or new trader registrations on exchanges or via brokers
- You assist the team with administrative matters pertaining to the team’s internal daily processes, such as contract executions, bank detail confirmations, and update of contact details
- You have an overall aim of building a bottom-up understanding of the Contract Management team’s activities and processes, both internally as well as towards other internal departments
Your Profile
- You are currently enrolled at university in law, engineering, business administration or a related discipline
- Initial experience in energy trading/procurement or a similar environment would be beneficial
- Alongside your ambitious and positive attitude, you have a strong desire to learn and capacity to work independently
- You also like working collaboratively within the Contract Management team as well as other internal departments
- Full working proficiency in English with the ability to write and communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently rounds out your profile
